Quick as a wink chocolate cake

Finn’s mom calls it “quick as wink ” because it takes less than 5 minutes to prepare, and if you don’t need it to come out of the pan perfectly shaped, you can even mix it all together directly in the pan and save yourself the cleanup.

Here’s what you’ll need for a loaf pan or similar sized cake:

1½ cups of flour

1 cup sugar

1 cup of water

½ cup oil

1 tbsp vinegar

1 tsp baking soda

⅓ cup cocoa powder.

Lightly grease a loaf pan, dump in all of the ingredients and mix together. Bake at 175° C for about 30 min or until done. For a treat, sprinkle some powdered sugar on top.

    YUM!! Sounds delicious, thanks.
I have a gluten-free (no flour at all) recipe for a quick-baking sort of brownie, ingredients: techina, eggs, cocoa powder, and a small amount of sugar.
    Would you like the recipe?

I have never seen such a quick dessert recipe and I LOVE it! By the time I’ve made dinner, I’m pretty low on energy for dessert so this is perfect to save time but still enjoy a delicious sweet treat!

You had me at “quick”! :-). I enjoy eggless baking, especially of the chocolate variety. This is the kind of recipe you’d whip up quickly, for unexpected guests.
