Great ideas especially when I’m finding travel to be so expensive at the moment! Thanks for the tip on Skyscanner; I’ll check it out! 🙂

We are going away for a week to Lancaster County Pa. Over the week of July 4th (because it is my birthday). We usually stay at a specific Airbnb and this will be our 12th time staying there. We love the owners and the area is beautiful. We cook most of our meals there and usually only do free or very inexpensive outings and activities. We love just relaxing and spending the time together away from normal everyday life. This is a great informative post. Thank you for sharing!

Love this list! Super helpful! I have also recently used chat GPT to give me an itinerary and then I edit it. It’s super helpful!

I like that you included finding free walking tours, they are a great way to get to know the area being visited. I enjoy seeking out free art walks, and interpretive nature trails as well.
