So why is charitable giving (tzedaka) an integral part of our monthly budget?

There are so many organizations out there. How do we decide who to give to and how much to give?

Which charities do you like to support? How do you decide how much and when to give?

Great post. I don’t have a monthly budget as such but I do make a point to donate to a charity every month, which I’ve been doing for a number of years now. I love what you said about the world being bigger than you and we’re all interconnected x

Beautiful post! My mother likes to give to St. Jude hospital here in the U.S. sometimes. Have you heard of St.Jude hospital?

Great explanation of why you give to charities. I definitely agree with you and implement giving a portion of our families’ income and see a portion in return/blessings (I believe it’s a Biblical principal). Thank you for writing on this topic! 😊

This is such a great reminder to put this in your budget! I will start putting this on my budget starting in September!

I think this is a lovely idea and one that can easily be put into practice. No matter how much we give, it’s lovely to make it an ongoing/regular thing whenever we can.

Great idea to identify charities to support based on your interests and values. Making giving a part of your budget is key to following through on your good intentions.

It’s so good to hear about giving. I usually like to support animal charities.

Us too. This month we gave some money to the rescue organization we adopted our dog from back in 2015.
